This gunpod was specifically made by the URSS to add two more cannons to the MiG-21 PF, making up for the lacks that caused the Indian Air Force to refuse to buy those aircrafts. The Indian Air Force mostly complained about the fact that the jets were only armed with only two very rudimental rockets.
